About the Business
Olwen Seear has been practising as a sports massage therapist since 2001 and attends regular courses to update her continued professional development. As a qualified Exercise to Music Teacher and UKA Level 3 Performance Coach, she coaches athletes at a local running club - specifically at Wimbledon Park Track - every Saturday morning from 9.30-11.45am. On Sunday mornings she takes runners for a steady 10-12 mile run, starting from the Windmill at Wimbledon Common. Anyone interested in participating in the sessions is welcome to come along.
Following nearly 30 years experience of running, coaching and treating clients, she is very familiar with sports injuries, muscle tightness, overtraining syndrome & biomechanical faults, which can all contribute to injury and stress. General tiredness, dehydration & lack of proper nutrition can also affect health and fitness levels. Injuries do not just happen to sports people; they can happen to anyone - even people leading sedentary lifestyles.
