About the Business
The Barnes School of Sports Therapy was established in 1984 by our principal Stephen Barnes, an HPC registered Chartered Physiotherapist who has extensive experience and expertise in the field of sports and fitness. We have delivered vocational sports and fitness training courses for almost two decades and this gives us a clear understanding of the skills our students need to be both effective and successful in the workplace. The School is based at the Barnes Sports Clinic in Bath, a highly successful private practice with over 25 years of experience offering a wide range of therapeutic treatments, rehabilitation programmes and health & fitness regimes.
Our philosophy is to provide our students with courses of the highest standard, run by experienced tutors who not only teach but actively work in their specialist fields so they can draw on their real life experiences in the classroom.
